District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET)/Elementary Teacher Training Institutes
Online applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into 2 year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) in Govt District Institutes of Educational Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state to be conducted by Dept of School Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh on 31st May, 2013, Friday in all 23 Districts of the State
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements
Candidate should have obtained a rank in DIET-CET-2013 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed
Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01st September, 2013
There is no upper age limit
Educational Qualifications: The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 examinations (qualifying examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test
The candidate should have secured 45% of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination
The minimum percentage of marks in the case of SC/ST/PC candidates shall however be 40%
The candidates who passed intermediate examination with vocational courses are not eligible
DIET-CET-2013: DIET-ET will be conducted on 31st May, 2013, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in all the Districts of the State
Application Procedure: The fee prescribed for appearing for DIETCET (including examination fee) is Rs 200/- (Rs two hundred only)
Candidates can pay the fee through AP-Online or e-Seva centers between 12th April, 2013 and 25th April, 2013 and submit online application at the DIETCET website http://dietcet.cgg.gov.in between13th April, 2013 and 26th April, 2013
